Aloha Kiva Kids
Project Description
Aloha Kiva Kids is a Hawaii-based, keiki-focused, globally-engaged, micro-lending team for Kiva.org. Founded by our daughter Keala Raatior, a 4th grader at Chiefess Kapiolani Elementary School in Hilo, Hawaii, Aloha Kiva Kids is one of the many teams of Kiva lenders. For Aloha Kiva Kids, our common interest is to focus on inspiring our keiki (kids) in Hawaii and around the world to share the Aloha Spirit through Kiva’s microlending movement. We believe that kids can inspire each other to work in a team spirit to earn money through fun entrepreneurial ventures and lend their earnings through Kiva to empower others. Kids will learn the value of money and its power to make positive change around the world.
